My friend had one of those, What he did would hold it by the sides and play with the buttons and sticks, then to type he'd bang his head on the Keyboard to type

Thats not how you use it! You type with your tongue! I had this for playing FFXI, wasn't that great. Use it as the USB kybd for my 360.
