ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 previewed

ATI introduces its newest mobile GPU today, and bestows the name of Mobility Radeon 9700 on the M11 chip. No, it doesn't have a R300 core, but that is only the beginning and it is where things start to get a bit confusing.

Anand takes a close hands-on look to ATI's new mobile GPU, gives the lowdown plus a few benchmarks for those of you who are more visually inclined.

    this can make a thin and light handle hl2. ill prolly think about getting one once an athlon64 gets paired with that at around $1500. i've been using my dad's lappy the past few weeks and i (somehow) find the laptop's keyboard easier to type on. i also find it convient to be able to fold up the computer at the end of the day.
