Everyone's favourite PC review site <cough>, Tom's Hardware, today posted a review of Seagate’s new 7200.7 100GB/platter harddrive. Just like usual, the competitors drivers are missing from some of the graphs and the conclusion is, erm, a bit different than other sites...

*Where "typical desktop environment" does not mean at all, reading small fragmented files where short access times is extremely more important than high sustained transfer rate.
