Take-Two confirms Max Payne 3

According to Gamespot, Take2's CEO, Jeffrey Lapin has confirmed that third sequel for Max Payne is in the works however it's not been said yet if Remedy will be kept as the developer for the project. Apparently Max Payne 2 didn't sell as expected which could lead to some change.

The first one was great - I heard the second one wasn't so hot - hopefully they'll make #3 the best yet...cool concept and I liked the gameplay...

I saw it as Max Payne 1 part 2. I think in the gaming world people have forgotten that games can be extended. Seems like people seem to think that just because its a sequel or something that it has to have 2 generations above its original in graphics/physics/and required video card.Kids who started gaming on p3 500s with voodoo 5s I think associate great games with eyecandy rather than how fun it is to play.
