Ubisoft's Far Cry seems to be getting lots of headlines lately and while the first single-player demo showed a lot of outdoor action potential, it wasn't until the full game was released that people has taken the game more seriously like they would with HL2 or Doom III... I haven't had the opportunity to play the full thing yet but I hope to do soon, according to our readers' comments graphics and gameplay are outstanding, so... have you had the opportunity to play it already? I invite you all to post your opinions on the game here.

  1. This game is excellent!Runs very good on my sys:P4 3GhzIntel i8751 gig corsair xms2x80 seagate serial in raid 0soundblaster auidgy 2Geforce FX 5900 ultraOnly suggestion I have is do not d/l the patch unless you have problems!
  2. This game is awesome. Plays fine on my:XP1600+1.4GHz @ 1.533GHzGF3 ti500(240/500) @ (267/570)ABIT KD7 KT400 mobo512 DDR PC210080gig seagateI found out that V44.65 Nvidia drivers to be the best newer drivers for a GF3 ti500. I get around 9000 points in 3dmark2001SE.
  3. Your doing pretty well if your running Far Cry on a 1600+ and Geforce3. A lot of people are having problems with systems using 2800+ or higher and 9800 Pro's.
  4. Well it plays fine on 1024x768 on medium settings. It only slowed down once so far.
  5. I got a question. My bud has a 1.4GHz TBird and 256DDR and a 8500LE. I was wondering if a 9800SE would improve the gameplay as the game pauses at random with the 8500LE.
