Microsoft has agreed to pay Opera Software $12.75 million over a lawsuit in which the Norway-based company alleged that pages on MSN website were purposely made to look bad in the Opera Web browser.

This is yet another settlement the software giant has reached after a long and painful campaign seeking to simplify its business by clearing up potentially damaging legal claims.

Thats fusking hilarious.. I dont see how you can be sued over doing something like that, or ordered to pay $12M, but whatever.

agreed. this is so rediculous. MS can do whatever they want with THEIR product and THEIR website. I'm thinking I will start detecting opera in my sites and not allowing any one who uses to view my pages... bunch of whining bitches.

Yet another reason I will never use or recommend Opera...aside from my dislike of the browser itself
