New theme for Windows XP?

By Derek Sooman

A new theme, potentially destined for Windows XP, has leaked out of Microsoft and onto the web. The theme appears to have come out of a beta version of Media Center 2005, currently in testing.

The theme is not a substantially different incarnation of the existing of Luna, the current default theme for Windows XP.

It looks very pleasant actually.

  1. To be honest, I am a little disappointed actually. I was hoping to get away from the blue/green look. :)I do like the "Corona style" colors, though. I just wish they would stay away from primary blue & greens.
  2. You can try it out [url=http://www.flexbeta.net/main/modules.php?modid=8&action
show&id=122]HERE[/url] if you wish. It's an official theme from MS so you can even use it with an unpatched uxtheme.dll.
