Bagle Virus Still At Large

By Derek Sooman

On July 21, 2004, 12:05 PM

The new Bagle virus version, which started to spread on Monday, seems to be killing PC after PC on its bloody road of dark vengeance.

"The latest virus, called Bagle.AI by some antivirus companies and Beagle.AG by others, spreads through e-mail as an attached file, which infects a user's PC when opened. The virus is extremely similar to previous versions of the program but uses a different form of compression as a way to dodge virus defenses."

As always, TechSpot recommends that you install up to date anti-virus software on your machine, which you should regularly update. You should also kill all viruses writers on sight. No, scrap that. Instead, bury them up to their necks in doggie doo, wearing only women's underwear. Then kill them.

Meanwhile, watch out for Bagle. Its everywhere.

  1. Absolutely agree on the virus writers punishment, perhaps a thread on the best way to deal with them would be appropriate.Mine would be to give them a life threatening disease where the treatment is administered by a computer that is connected to the internet.
