GeForce 6800 series round-up

I just picked up one of these babies this weekend, and I can tell you, I am VERY happy with the performance. I've not tried Doom III yet, but I can certainly tell you that UT2004 is playing beatifully with all of the eye candy on.

A great card then.... but so many different versions out there on the market. Which is best? Fortunately, this question has been answered by TechReport, in their article here.

The showdown this time is between cards from BFG, Chaintech, eVGA, inno3D, and PNY. There's a variety of useful tests, plus a good discussion on what each bundle contains for your hard earned $$$. I won't spoil which card wins outright, but I can promise you a good discussion on why it did.
