Alienware have extended their ultra line of totally kick ass machines to include a machine running at 4GHz, it has been rumoured today. I say rumoured, because as far as I can tell, there is still no official confirmation.

In order to offer a 4GHz P4 system, Alienware had to overclock existing 3.40GHz and 3.60GHz chips to new rates. This causes all sorts of heat problems, as you can imagine, however this is dealt with by Alienware’s exclusive ultra-quiet Liquid Cooling technology, which cools components with specially formulated liquid and gold-plated, pure copper coolers.
