OK, lets here more about a great little card that can give you some kick ass Nvidia performance at a reasonable price - the NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT. The 6600 line of cards marks Nvidia's journey into a native PCIe line of GPUs, which is also good to hear about, since we will all be using PCIe graphics card before too long. The review pits the 6600 against against current and previous generation ATI and NVIDIA cards, as well as ATI's current midrange PCIe card, the X600XT. A number of games are used to make benchmarks, including Doom 3, UT2004, Far Cry and Halo. This article is a really good read if you are considering the purchase of a 6600 card, which is something we can definately recommend.

  1. Sounds like a hot little number, exciting SLI ability and extremely decent benchmark numbers. All for around $200?!?!? craziness
