SuSE Linux has launched the latest version of its SuSE Linux Professional operating system, version 9.2. New features include enhancements to the 2.6 kernel, KDE 3.3 and GNOME 2.6 desktop environments. There is also updated support for mobility configuration tools and support for Bluetooth and wireless LANs, a welcome addition for many Linux users, many of whom are at present struggling with wireless LAN on Linux. Also included is the OpenOffice.org 1.1.3 productivity suite, Novell Evolution 2.0 groupware, GIMP 2.0 for image manipulation, the 2.6.8 kernel and the X.Org Foundation's X Window System X11R.6.8.1. More here.

  1. It's not really released yet.. The thing will be available sometime in November.I personally am really looking forward to it since 9.1 has some problems on my laptop and 9.2 is supposed to have lots of improvements in that area.
