Ten days after suspending its shares, Argonaut Games plc, the UK based games company who were behind the Harry Potter game, has called in the administrators. David Rubin and Asher Miller were appointed joint administrators of three of Argonaut's trading subsidiaries - Argonaut Software Limited, Just Add Monsters Limited and Morpheme Limited - late on Friday. The administrators are currently seeking to sell the businesses. Last week Argonaut closed its Sheffield office with the loss of some 100 jobs. The company currently employs around 120 people, so if you do the math, you can quickly work out how quiet it is in there now. The developments follow on from severe losses made by the company and its trading subsidiaries. More here.
