Hard drives all round

"As the PC market matures, and the amount of digital content available to the consumer and the desire to store it continues to increase, the number of devices integrating hard disk drives in consumers' homes will explode." - Apple.

Soon, all sorts of consumer electronic devices will be following the iPod / Mp3 player road and encorporating a hard drive. Mobile cell phones, PVRs, PDAs, Global Positioning System devices, digital cameras and all sorts of other bits and pieces could be coming with a miniature hard drive soon.
