PDA Sales drop and drop

I thought every man and his dog wanted a PDA, but it looks like I was very wrong. Apparently, if it doesn't have voice capabilities then people don't want to touch it with a barge pole, and for the third quarter in a row shipments of handheld devices such as personal digital assistants fell. In the latest quarter, sales were down 8.7 percent from last year's third quarter. Some prominent vendors have decided to pull back from the market, it seems.
