New technology fuel cells

Materials and Energy Research Institute Tokyo have invented a fuel cell for notebook PCs which is more compact and powerful than competing technologies. The direct borohydride fuel cell technology (your guess is as good as mine!) is seen as cheaper and more compact than other fuel cell alternatives, and should be on the market by early 2006.
