Microsoft does not see Firefox as a threat

The recent release of Firefox 1.0 does not seem to have fazed Microsoft at all. Speaking in a security round-table discussion in Sydney on Thursday, Microsoft's security and management product manager said that IE is no less secure than any other browser, and that you only hear about it in the news so often because it’s so ubiquitous. Microsoft do not feel that IE's market share is in any way under attack, and they are certainly not worried much by Firefox. Oh well, that's alright then.
