Monster HDD Mega Roundup

By Derek Sooman

Xbitlabs continue their series of mega roundups with their extensive testing and review of 16 200GB+ hard drives, featuring drives from Hitachi, Maxtor, Seagate and Western Digital. Of the 16 drives under review, 9 are 200GB, 6 are 250GB and one is a whopping 300GB! Just imagine what four of those on the end of a RAID controller would bring you... 1.2TB! Just enough to fit that movie collection on, before the MPAA takes it away from you.

Although the article has a problem with naming an overall champ, the Hitachi HDS722525VLAT80 drives of 200GB and 250GB capacities and the Seagate ST3200822AS do especially well.
