Gigabyte developing dual-GPU card

Missed this piece of news yesterday when Gigabyte announced that they are working on a dual-GPU solution, that is, two GeForce 6600 GT chips running on single board which according to the manufacturer takes performance above the level of high-end single chip videocards like NVIDIA's own GeForce 6800 Ultra and ATI's recently announced Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition.

While performance of the dual processor videocard still has to be seen, an even bolder claim from Gigabyte says they expect the card to be offered on a bundle with the mainboard GA-K8NXP-SLI for less money than a single GPU videocard alone (~ $500-600)... not bad at all!
