TechSpot Poll: Your holidays' upgrade pick?
For me, it was a tough one and I'm probably waiting a little longer until I switch to PCI Express. I'm getting a new laptop however, more than likely going with a Centrino/PentiumM because of the generous battery life.
And of course, here are last week's poll results with Half-Life 2 getting almost half of the votes, I had to go with Far Cry on this:

I voted Far Cry... I had actually not completed Half Life when I voted but now I have and I still stand behind my vote...I actually am a bit disappointed with the linearity of the game, not that it isn't great but IMO Half-Life 1 was more fun to play than 2, simple because the other games I've played since then, most notable Deus Ex and Far Cry, have given the player so much more choice (or atleast feeling of choice)
