In the latest in the Oracle-takes-over-PeopleSoft saga, Oracle executives have now taken the place of four key executives of PeopleSoft Corp.
The replaced PeopleSoft executives are Co-President and Chief Financial Officer Kevin T. Parker, Co-President W. Phillip Wilmington, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Nanci Caldwell and James P. Shaughnessy, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Safra Catz and Charles E. Phillips Jr. were named as co-presidents, Harry L. You as financial chief and Daniel Cooperman as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission filing. They each hold the same posts at Oracle.
PeopleSoft chairman and chief executive, David A. Duffield, also resigned earlier in December. How long before PeopleSoft is a fading memory?
