Apple CEO Steve Jobs offered some glimpses of next generation Apple Mac OS "Tiger" at the Macworld conference yesterday. Jobs was quick so say that there were so many new features in this OS that describing them all would be too time consuming, however he did demonstrate recent builds of the Mac OS desktop search tool technology "Spotlight", as well as some other bits and pieces including Dashboard and some applets. Lots of under the hood changes are in store as well, including many kernel improvements, as well as "smart folders" that behave like the iTunes' smart playlists and iPhoto's smart albums.
