Startup company Realm Systems has released a cellphone-sized device that integrates completely with your complete desktop PC and can be used wherever you go, all with the power of a Terminal Server, an application that is available on just about every OS out there. Realm's technology does not depend on the operating system of the host system, and takes over the components it needs for data entry

Dubbed the the Mobile Personal Server (MPS), the device can attach via an USB interface to any computer, take over the Internet connection and create a VPN connection via Terminal services to a proprietary backend system, the SOBA router. In this process, the MPS hibernates the host PC's operating system and takes over hardware components such as screen, graphics, keyboard and mouse.
