Cisco to buy Nokia?

There have been some rumours (and, right now, that is all they are) that Cisco has been thinking about buying Nokia. Nokia, who have been a key player in the cellular infrastructure and its associated markets for some time now, would be an extremely good investment for Cisco, given that Cisco is lacking in that department considerably.

With IP based backhaul networks becoming de rigeur for 3G networks, Nokia's customer base would be just the sort of network operators which Cisco would want to target.
