Mobile phone virus could go global in minutes

Apparently a mobile phone virus has surfaced that is the first of its kind. It can replicate via Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). The virus, which runs on the Symbian Series 60 smartphone operating system and is called CommWarrior, is able to spread using multimedia messages that include an image, audio or video which is sent from one phone to another or by email. Potentially, an MMS based virus could go global in minutes, just like an email worm.
