Do you think you can get a gaming PC for $580? Well, Gateway certainly thinks that you can. They have today announced three additions to their eMachines entry-level PC range. One of the machines is, apparently, a $580 gaming machine. Well, fancy that.

The machine comes with an Athlon 64 3200+ processor, 512 MByte dual channel memory, ATI's Radeon Xpress 200 integrated graphics chipset with 128 MByte shared memory, a 160 GB hard drive. OK, not exactly the king of HL2 framerates, but enough to satisfy the requirement for a low-priced gaming PC for children.
