Nvidia ships nForce for Intel

Speed freaks will be pleased to hear that Nvidia has begun shipping its nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition chipset. The product will support the LGA-775 interconnect, allowing it to take today's Pentium 4 processors and the upcoming dual-core Pentium D and Pentium Extreme Edition. Support is there for 1066MHz frontside buses.

The chipset comes with all of the other usual bits and pieces you expect from something this fresh: Gigabit Ethernet; Nvidia's ActiveArmor hardware firewall and TCP/IP processing; ten USB 2.0 ports; support for dual-channel DDR 2 SDRAM clocked at up to 667MHz; and support for up to four Serial ATA and four parallel ATA drives, with Serial ATA II 3Gbps and RAID 5. RAID 5 on your motherboard... wow! And yes, PCI Express is naturally catered for, with 20 lanes available ready to be configured by the manufacturer.

OK, where did I put my credit card and my copy of HL2?
