Linux Kernel changes causing some concern

Some concern is being expressed over the rapid feature changes in the 2.6 version of the Linux kernel, with some experts claiming that the changes are too focused on the desktop, and that the kernel may be becoming too large. Many are not happy with the ever expanding kernel support for better game and music drivers, and instead crave a kernel that is more stable. Andrew Morton, the current maintainer of the Linux 2.6 kernel, claims that feature changes are being pumped into the kernel at an incredible rate.
