Security site Zone-H has tracked nearly 400,000 attacks of web servers on the internet, and confirms that such attacks are on the rise. Seemingly, the rate has grown by one third from 2004, with attacks continuing on even governments and the military.

"The collection of this information on cyber-crime provides data for the evolution of trends and the definition of techniques, allowing system administrators to test their own servers and close the security holes," said Zone-H founder Roberto Preatoni.
