Security site Zone-H
has tracked nearly 400,000 attacks of web servers on the internet, and confirms that such attacks are on the rise
. Seemingly, the rate has grown by one third from 2004, with attacks continuing on even governments and the military.
"The collection of this information on cyber-crime provides data for the evolution of trends and the definition of techniques, allowing system administrators to test their own servers and close the security holes,"
said Zone-H founder Roberto Preatoni.
