Nintendo unveils new Game Boy Micro

By Derek Sooman

First we had the Xbox 360 unveiling, then it was the turn of the Playstation 3 to show its face. Now, Nintendo has unveiled its new Game Boy, the smallest ever yet. The Game Boy Micro is comparable in size to an iPod, and weighs just 2.8 ounces. Supporting the increasing penchant of the consumer for removable face plates, the new Game Boy will allow customisation through several styles of plate. It is fully compatible with Game Boy Advance SP games, but is still at this stage a work in progress. No pricing information was available.

  1. The new Game Boy is most definitely not codenamed "Revolution." That'd be the moniker for Nintendo's next-generation console.[url]http://media.cube.ign.com/articles/615/615030/i

  2. Ooops! Sorry! changed.
