By Derek Sooman on June 13, 2005, 1:04 PM
Symantec has today launched Symantec Critical System Protection 4.5. This intrusion prevention solution is aimed at UNIX, Linux and Windows desktop and server systems, and should be available later this month. Symantec claims that the solution will defend against day-zero attacks, enforce behaviour-based security policies, and much more.

"Symantec Critical System Protection demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with the most innovative and effective protection for endpoint clients and servers," said Chirantan "CJ" Desai, director of product management for client and host security at Symantec. "With this solution, Symantec extends the endpoint security infrastructure by adding a layer of robust protection against new malicious threats."
Symantec Critical System Protection 4.5 should be available in late June.
