Google has unveiled its Google Video Viewer, a free software download that lets users watch some of the video clips on its new video search service. Working with IE and thankfully Firefox as well, the new viewer works with Google’s own video search site exclusively. Videos from many sources are available to try out with it, including from CNET's GameSpot.com, Link TV, Greenpeace and UNICEF. Short clips from more than 20 television stations are also available, as is content from Google's partners on this project, including ABC, NBC, CNN, The Weather Channel and Fox News.
