Microsoft is back with some new and interesting hardware offerings, showing once again that it's not just a software company, and that it can innovate in the hardware arena as well. This time, the company is releasing two new hardware products, the "Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition" and a bundle tailored for digital camera owners, consisting of a mouse, keyboard and digital-imaging software known as the "Wireless Optical Desktop 5000".

The "Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition" is a three-in-one control centre for Windows XP Media Center PCs, whereas the "Wireless Optical Desktop 5000" is designed to "turn any desktop into a virtual dark room."

Both products should be with us around mid-September of this year, and will each be priced at $99.
