Secure Computing buys CyberGuard

Secure Computing is to buy rival company CyberGuard in a deal worth $295 million. As a result, Secure Computing expects to see revenue jump from $110 million per year to $200 million. Other results should include product changes and lay-offs.

"There is overlap in some assets," said Mike Gallagher, senior vice president of product development.
