The BBC is selling classic episodes of sci-fi comedy "Red Dwarf" and also a big sci-fi favorite of mine "Doctor Who", for viewing on mobile phones. Yes, users with suitable mobiles can now enjoy the antics of TV's most famous Timelord on the move. BBC Worldwide has partnered with mobile phone content firm ROK Player to sell special multimedia memory cards known as digital video chips (DVC), which can be inserted into compatible mobile phones.

A DVC with a special episode of "Doctor Who" and three episodes of "Red Dwarf," which will be sold at Nokiastores and through the ROK Player Web site, will cost 17 pounds. ROK Player also offers music videos and films such as "Wallace and Gromit" and "The Shawshank Redemption."
