Nokia has announced that it is to set up a research and development Centre for mobile infrastructure in China. The Centre will develop mobile applications based on 3G and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) for the Chinese and global markets.
"The R&D centre will develop mobile applications based on 3G and IP Multimedia Subsystem for both Chinese and global markets," Nokia company said.
The centre is Nokia's sixth research and development centre in China. The company holds a strong market position there as the number one supplier of mobile devices.
