Cingular Wireless is expected to reveal plans to launch a Motorola Inc. mobile phone which can play music using Apple Computer’s iTunes software. September 7th could well be the date the new phone is revealed, at a San Francisco based Apple event. The phone will be made possible thanks to a new joint effort between Motorola, Apple and Cingular. The product is expected to be one of the first of many, since music downloads are expected to be one of the hottest services for wireless providers in the next year.
