Vista release date: Nothing set in stone yet

Although AMD and Microsoft mentioned during the AMD Tech Tour that Microsoft Vista may be released next spring, recent articles seem to indicate that may not happen until December of 2006. Microsoft's latest OS has suffered several major setbacks over the past several months. In 2002, Bill Gates claimed that Vista would be ready in 2005, which clearly isn't going to happen.
