ATI To Unleash "AVIVO"

ATI has unveiled a concept for cross platform video, most especially TV to PC and PC to TV. Called “Avivo”, it's designed to be essentially a DSP for Digital TVs and computers. It's something that can be included in existing lines such as the AIW and does image enhancement, among other things. The most interesting thing I saw in this article was how it would enable (or require) universal connectivity between TV, HDTV and PC using DVI/HDMI connectors, as well as analog connectors.
