New digital music player from Dell

Dell plans to directly challenge Apple's iPod Shuffle with a new flash-memory digital music player. Priced at the same level as the Shuffle, the new DJ Ditty comes with 512MB of memory, and can seemingly store 220 songs compared with the Shuffle's 120, according to Dell. Dell claims that the device utilises a more efficient compression technique, and uses 64kbps WMA encoding, so lets hope that it doesn't sound completely rubbish. The device also has a one inch LCD which can navigate music lists, and can also pick up FM radio.
