ATI Interview with Rene Froeleke

Various setbacks over the past year have left ATI, at least in consumer eyes, in somewhat of a slump. Getting beat to market with dual GPU solutions, supply issues, performance woes and others. That's all over with now says Rene Froeleke, Technical PR Manager for ATI Europe. Despite a lot of PR-speak it was good to hear some information. The interview covers the delay of Crossfire, the impending release of R520, and even some newer technologies. Though a lot of things he declined to comment one, the mention of a motherboard that had two fully separate, full-speed PCI-Ex x16 slots was very cool. It isn't all PC, and some info on the chips designed for the Xbox360 is in there as well. A lot of promise from ATI for the next year... let's hope they deliver.
