The much anticipated cousin of the X800GT is now available retail, for a rather decent price. The GTO is a step up from the GT, using the same GPU (depending) with 12 pipelines, and may become a popular enthusiast card. It can be made from a variety of GPUs, including ones with more capabilities that could be unlocked in the future. The card is less than $200 and is well above midrange capabilities, making it sound like a decent buy. The price is nearly the same as when the 9800 PRO first went to market, and the card sits in about the same place relatively. For midrange systems it is worth a look.
