Version 1.5 (Beta 2) of the popular mail client Thunderbird is available from Mozilla.com now. This is a stability and security update and thus isn't focused on features, but those already using the existing 1.5 beta may want to give it a try. For those who haven't, it is a fairly lightweight robust e-mail client that supports things such as POP3 and RSS, and is great for newsreading. Like most Mozilla software it is available for Linux, Windows and Mac. This is beta software and as such may have unresolved issues, but that's what enthusiasts are for.
