New research has found that millions of users do not understand how to protect their computers, and are putting themselves at risk from attack by cyber criminals. So, a new campaign called "Get Safe Online" is being launched in Cardiff in the UK to tackle the problem. As part of the campaign, security experts will be on hand to give out advice.

"The internet has become an essential tool for businesses and consumers, and has brought enormous benefits to our everyday lives, but we all know there are risks too," said John Hutton, Cabinet Minister responsible for e-Government.
The Get Safe Online campaign has the primary aim of making the Internet a safer place for people, and is a multi-agency initiative led by the UK Government.
