NBC to offer Nightly News on the Internet

As the expansion of video on demand for both TV and PC use increases, and more homes become wired, industry giants are having to adapt. Staring soon, media conglomerate NBC will be providing their nightly news broadcast over the Internet, for free, in its entirety. There are many online newscasts out there, and most (such as CNN) do offer video clips of stories, but NBC will be the first to do daily, full-length broadcasts. To a lot of us it may not seem important or interesting, but considering how the goal of these industries is to reach the “middle masses”, it makes complete sense that they would take this step. Though no details on if they will be expanding to other shows, news addicts will certainly like this. Nightly News available free, every day, from the computer, is interesting.
