Yahoo and TiVo have got together to provide TiVo's online scheduling features on Yahoo TV. Users of Yahoo TV will be able to use TiVo's scheduling technology to set their DVRs to record a show, by use of any Web connection to access the Yahoo TV service. Such deals could lead to more robust partnerships in the future.

"Working with Yahoo is another way for us to deliver the best way to watch television and give viewers control of the television experience" said TiVo CEO Tom Rogers. "Beginning today, we're giving Yahoo users -- whether they're at the office or away from home -- the ability to easily schedule recordings for later viewing."
