In a press release last week, SiS announced that Foxconn will be utilizing their SiS761GX chipsets in the near future, a PCI Express support chipset for AMD64 systems in their upcoming series. The new chipset comes in two flavors, both of which support all modern A64 CPUs and up to a 2000MT/s Hypertransport link speed, PCI Express and Mirage Video. Foxconn's new boards will be the next line in their WinFast series, the WinFast 761GXK8MB-EKRS and the WinFast 761GXK8MC-ERS. The ERS will be using the SiS964 southbridge and the EKRS will be using the SiS965 Southbridge. The press release did not state when the new motherboards will be available.
