This text message will self-destruct in five seconds...

Ever fancied having the ability to send a text message and have it immediately delete itself after it’s been read? Well, all you have to do is simply text STEALTH to 80880 to receive a link to download the StealthText applet via a WAP connection that will allow you to do just that. It’s then possible for you to send a self-destructive text message that will delete itself, making sure that your text does not wind up in the wrong hands.

The system works by sending the recipient a text notification showing the sender’s name and provides a link to a message. Once accessed, this message may only be viewed once. After viewing, the message is destroyed and the link will only take you to an 'expired or non-existent page' thereafter.

  1. Cool, but I haven't think of any *useful* uses for this.
