BT has signed a deal to manage Microsoft's global one call call centre routing initiative. The company will unify and manage Microsoft's contact centres into a single network. Operating on an 18 month deployment schedule, the contract will effect 77 Microsoft call centres.

"We selected BT to head up this programme based on their leadership and experience in contact centre technology and capabilties to manage a project of this scope globally," Microsoft's one call Team Director Michael Culleton said.

  1. This is awesome indeed. I think it will be very beneficial to Microsoft to have BT manager their call routing. Great job Microsoft, and you made a great choice.
  2.
The one call solution will enable Microsoft's call centers throughout the world to be centrally managed for call routing, leading to improved customer service levels and better use of call centre agents, the company said in a statement.
Cool. _file/475373.stmYeah, whatever....ok, well that's cool. So MS found another ally, and a little more efficency won't hurt them.
  3. Wow, what a way for MS to expand even more. I wonder if this will increase the efficiency of their call cetres. Hopefully BT can come through for MS not only to help MS but to make a better name for themselves as well.
