This year's Taipei Game Show will see an appearance of the long awaited PlayStation 3. About one quarter of Sony's exhibit space at the show will be given over to the new console.

Since Sony announced the PS3, the console has become the gamers' white rabbit. When the system was unveiled at last year's Electronics Entertainment Expo, it did so accompanied by a trailer reel of games in development for the system, including new Killzone and Tekken titles. Months later at Tokyo Game Show 2005, hopes of playable PS3 demos were dashed, but attendees were treated to a handful of new game trailers, most notably Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
